Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Nayagarh is affiliated to “SHIKSHYA VIKAS SAMITI,ODISHA” in State Level and VIDHAYA BHARATI in National Level. The school was established in the year, 1995 in a rented building in Nayagarh, with 40 students and two teachers only. Now it is functioning in its own building since 2002. The present student strength is 1187 and 48 Acharyas and Acharyaas are devoted to teaching from pre-primary to Class-X. The pre-primary level is called SHISHU BATIKA. The course curriculum prescribed by the School and Mass Education Department is adopted in the school. In order to acquire extra knowledge, courses curriculum designed by “ShikshyaVikas Samiti” are also offered here. The school is housed in a magnificent building with playground and well-equipped laboratories, library, Projector class room, and computer lab. It is also equipped with advance audio-visual aids. The school follows the courses and syllabus of Board of Secondary Education, Odisha and runs classes from Nursery to class-X with odia as a medium of instruction.
